Aspiring puppeteer @MuppetMaker is selling these incredible laptop cases on his Etsy page. They are all super unique and each one is one-of-a-kind. I think my favorite part is that they all have a "tongue pocket" for USB storage!

These are really the coolest thing ever. I can't really see living to much longer without getting one for my laptop!

Back to Basics: A Social Media Primer

A new survey put out by the CMO Council has shed some new light on how brands are utilizing social media as part of their marketing mix. Most shockingly, the survey found that only 16% of brands routinely monitor what is being said about them online. Furthermore, 59% don’t compensate anyone based on customer loyalty scores and only 30% feel confident in their company’s ability to deal with customer complaints. 

We here at MGH WOM are firm believers in starting from the bottom up. It’s never too late to jump into the social media game, but if you aren’t already playing you may have a bit of catching up to do. Here are a few ways to get (back) on the right track. 

Intimate Boinkometers

So, I guess this is where my blog goes downhill, but how could I not post about something called the "Boinkometer"! So apparently, the man puts this counter "on" and it counts the number of boinks that you boink, while boinking. I suppose its kind of like a skip-it, but for adults. I guess the same slogan even holds up... "The best part of it all, there's a counter on his...." ehhh, nevermind.

Absolute best ad placement in the history of the world.

The media buyer and copywriter behind this ad need raises. I still don't think this would fly in the NY Times. Why can't advertising be just as much fun in America? Obama - can you do something about that?
