I am very excited that today, I received my first round of FourSquare window decals for my clients store-fronts. I think this is a great way for FourSquare to continue to grow their network and allow businesses to begin capitalizing on the platform even more. Did anyone else get theirs today? Here it is! I can't wait to get it "installed"
Do you think social media is a fad? This video does a great job at dispelling that misconception. Much in the same way that Did You Know described the changing landscape of media in our culture, this video explains why social media is important and not something to be ignored.
Watch the video below and leave your thoughts. We would love to hear how you feel about it.

Yesterday, Google rolled out a whole new tool box of search options that will prove to be nothing short of a game-changer. Users will now be able to search for terms based on relevancy, recency, content type, reviews, etc. This means that sites like Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, and review sites will have a much larger impact in the search world.
In addition to refining your search, Google has now integrated rich snippets. "Rich snippets could include things like the average review score, the number of reviews, and the price range for a local restaurant". This puts user-generated content much more into the forefront of any given search.
This new iteration of Google search continues to prove the value of user-generated content. The companies who will make an impact in the early stages of this evolution of search are the ones who are already harnessing the power of their customers by engaging them online and encouraging them to share their thoughts and experiences.
Here at MGH we are obviously strong believers in letting consumers be heard, and are extremely excited that their voice is now an even more integral part of search results. Go do a search for your favorite product with Google's new search options and see for yourself the power of customers talking.

Japanese pop-artist Ayumi Hamasaki just announced that she will be releasing her newest album "Next Level" via a USB flash drive. The drive will feature tons of multimedia content including all 13 tracks off of the album, 6 music videos, album art, and lyrics.
The cool thing about this limited edition, custom USB drive is that the album and multimedia content only takes about about 800 megs of space on the 2GB drive - leaving plenty of space for fans to use this as a regular flash drive as well. (Picture after the break)
The internet is a wonderful place and this morning it has bestowed upon me two amazing inventions. I consider it a good day if I can find one useful thing online a day, but today my friends, there are two!
The first one is the Butterfly Technology Tube Dispenser. I don't know about everyone else, but I am a stickler for squeezing tubes from the bottom. ESPECIALLY my toothpaste. Not only does this clever little invention make it not necessary to squeeze from the bottom, but it also allows you to get every last drop of toothpaste out of the tube. How is that for savings in an economy like this?! Check this out!
The second wonder I found today coincides with my love for sushi. Now I definitely would eat sushi out any night over making it myself, but that is because I can't make it like they do in the restaurant. BUT, what if I could?
Well, with this roll maker, that is a reality. All you do is fill both sides with rice, put in your fillings, and push out a perfect roll. It all seems too good to be true. When I buy one and give it a try, I will let everyone know. In the meantime be in awe of its potential.

With Valentines Day right around the corner, its about time to start freaking out trying to find the perfect gift for a meaningless "holiday". Luckily for you, I have put together a list of the 10 best gifts for your tech-friendly lover. Because I am feeling so generous today, you don't even have to tell them that I gave you these ideas.
The <3 Collection
Nothing screams I LOVE YOU more than an emoticon. Your special lady will be :-P all day when you put this around her neck.
OK, this is actually one of the best/coolest gifts I have seen in a really long time. Nothing says "I like you, like you" more than a mixtape of all the songs that remind them of you. Yes, we went from actual mix tapes to mix cds, but now we have progressed to mix usb-flashdrives. Packaged like a type so you can still draw hearts and start galore all over the track-listing, this usb drive will deliver 60-minutes of cutesy music to your crush. Available at:Think Geek
I think all of us wish that we could have the brightest, tackiest, most over the top Christmas decorations on the block. A setup that includes all sorts of flashing lights, inflatable Christmas characters, and of course carols playing through a blown out PA system.
Since I live in an apartment, me and my roommate are not able to go to quite that extent. But, I have found the next best thing! Alek's Controllable Christmas!Alek has set up the light show that dreams are made of and allows anyone to be in control. Simply visit his website HERE and inflate the Santa yourself, or turn on and off his lights. You see everything happening in real-time via webcams. Heck, you can even watch in HD!
This has got to be one of the coolest things I have seen in a very long time. The video is kind of long, but well worth the watch. Anyone know if there is anything like this in the United States?
How long do you think it will be until the Disney channel offers this kid a show similar to VH1's "The Pickup Artist". It's never to young to wear ski goggles and big fury hats. This kid has a future.
